Who exactly are Kelly and Steffan? Well, we’re people. People who are not exactly old, but certainly not young…we’ve lived a little. We’ve got three kids, two cats, a dog, three marriages and two divorces between us. We’ve both been working since our early teens and as our nest empties, we are looking forward to the oh-so-slowly approaching days of retirement.
We are also what some would call ‘blessed’. Despite the challenges life’s ever changing prerogatives have thrown at us, we’ve always ended up in a place we love–both before we met and now as a couple. We have wonderful families and children. We have our health, shelter, food and the ability to save for future. We have jobs that allow us to work from home and that we both enjoy. We have the ability to travel and explore the world. And most of all, we have each other.
All that being said, we are also individuals, with unique experiences that give each of us our own perspectives on life, goals and the pursuit of happiness–sometimes similar, sometimes not-so-much. LivingTheMiddle.com is the place where we share these perspectives, as well as our successes and failures on our journey through this thing called life.
